Stranger Things – Joseph Quinn Just Appeared on His Talk Show for the First Time

“This is the power of Eddie Monson.”

Back in May, British actor Joseph Quinn became an overnight sensation when he debuted as Eddie Monson on Netflix’s fourth season. Weird things.

While Joseph has appeared in other TV shows and movies over the years, it is Eddie who really put his name on the map, like everyone from Doja Cat to black jack praise.

His whirlwind came to a head on Monday when he finally appeared on his talk show on Jimmy Fallon Tonight Show.

Joseph looked home on the sofa while talking to the host about his sudden rise to fame and admitted he was even more excited to be there after being nearly denied entry to the United States by border control.

In fact, only when the officer recognized Joseph by the name of Eddie was he able to leave the airport – and not before receiving a stern warning about the character’s future.

“It’s great to be here because I almost screwed up,” Joseph told Jimmy. “I was arrested at immigration yesterday. Ever been to ‘high school’? Which one?”

In this case, people trying to enter the United States are directed to a separate corresponding area, where inspectors will conduct further research to verify their identity and determine why they want to enter the country.

Joseph continued, “I was taken to…it was more than a dungeon.” “And I was told to wait there for about 20 minutes and then I was called into this office where someone asked me: ‘What are you doing in the United States, sir?’ “

I said, ‘Well, I’m already here to meet Jimmy Fallon Tonight show.“They didn’t believe me,” Joseph added. Then one of his colleagues looked at me and said: Leave Eddie alone!

Joseph remembers the first officer and then said, “Who are you? I don’t know,” to which the other officer replied, “Eddy who’s Weird thingsThen the first officer said, “You’re Eddie Monson?” Joseph replied, “Sort of.”

Then Joseph laughed, “He was like, are you coming back next season?” And Joe concluded his speech by saying, “And I said, ‘I don’t know,’ and he said, ‘You’re better,’ he gave me the passport, and here you go.”

The tale was met with great applause from the live studio audience, with Jamie summing up: “This is the power of Eddie Monson!”

Elsewhere in the interview, Joseph talked about how worried he was about joining Weird thingsprecisely because of his fear of stepping on the toes of Joe Kerry.

Joe plays fan favorite Steve Harrington, who has established an almost patriarchal role toward the younger characters since season one.

Joseph Eddy’s character also took some boys under his wing in Season 4 and has an especially close relationship with Dustin, played by Gaten Matarazzo.

“I had the best time with [Joe and Gaten]’” Joseph told Jimmy. “I was very nervous about this dynamic because the characters Gaten and Joe, their dynamics is something that people really like, and I was very conscious to step into it and be Joe Jett’s side.”

“Joe on the side,” the actor laughed. “[I was] You don’t really want to step on anyone’s toes. But it actually became one of the things I enjoyed the most [the show] Because I and Joe were constantly comparing Little Gate’s fairy tales.”

Gaten and Joseph became incredibly close, and Jimmy remembered that when Gaten appeared on his show earlier this year, he said Jimmy would “love” Joseph.

In a video that went viral, the actor was seen breaking down in tears during a Q&A after fan Kimberly Burroughs spoke warmly of Eddie and thanked Joseph for spending time with guests over the weekend.

Kimberly also addressed the growing reports that Joseph was “yelling at” and mistreated by Comic Con staff throughout the convention.

“I’m sure many of us heard what happened yesterday – whether it was true or not – about how you were treated,” she told Joseph. “Just wanted to say thank you from all of us, we are really grateful for sharing your time.”

“I think we all come into contact with Eddie, for one reason or another – whether we like his musical flair, or he’s weird like I mentioned. I think we are all part of Eddie,” Kimberly continued.

Apparently Joseph was surprised by her kind words and began to cry, wiping his eyes with his hands, joking: “Ah, why did you do that?”

Fans later became alarmed when Joseph suddenly canceled his scheduled appearance at German Comic Con a few days later, citing a problem with his passport.

But the star spoke fondly of his time at LFCC Tonight Showtold Jimmy, “I went to Comic Con recently and it was very touching to see how many people you know [Eddie]. “

“And I think it’s probably the fact that he’s weird,” Joseph continued. “A little bit, sort of, on the fringes of society. It’s very touching to see how much it means to people.”
