Harry and Meghan, who have announced they will step back from their official roles as working members of the royal family in 2020 and move to California, are back in the UK for a four-day celebration marking the Queen’s platinum jubilee.
The couple mostly kept out of the limelight at various parties, parades and events organized for the occasion.

The Queen reportedly met Lillibit’s great-granddaughter – named after her and Harry’s late mother Diana, Princess of Wales – for the first time last week.
Royal commentator Omid Scobie, who co-authored a book on the Sussex exit from their official roles within the monarchy, chirp Harry and Meghan invited close friends and family to an “intimate picnic in the backyard” at Frogmore Cottage, Windsor on Saturday “to celebrate Lilibet,” a spokesperson for the couple said.

Photos from the event that Harriman has shared on Twitter and Instagram include a photo of Lillipet sitting on the grass wearing a light blue dress and a bow, as well as a black and white group shot of Meghan holding Lillipet standing next to her. In a statement shared by Scooby, a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said the couple were “incredibly touched by their daughter’s countless birthday wishes.” Scooby said party guests enjoyed baked goods designed by Claire Ptak, who made Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake.
The spokesperson added that the couple were stunned to learn that “people all over the world” had donated more than $100,000 to World Central Kitchen in Lilibet’s honor. An online fundraiser organized by supporters of the couple – who call themselves the “Sussex Squad” – raised nearly $109,000 for the charity early Tuesday in honor of Lilipt and her brother, Archie, who celebrated their third birthday last month.
Several members of the royal family wished Lillibit a happy birthday on Saturday – including Harry’s brother, Prince William, and his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, who were in Wales on that day to celebrate the jubilee.
