Mother of 12-Year-Old Houston Victim Appears With Trump at Border Event

In Houston, On Thursday, near the US-Mexico border in Arizona, the family of a 12-year-old Houston girl who authorities say was killed by two unauthorized immigrants joined former President Donald Trump.

June 17 was the day of the discovery of Jocelyn Nungaray’s body in a north Houston creek. The two males, Johan Martinez-Rangel and Franklin Peña, allegedly strangled her before disposing of her body in a creek, according to the police. Illegal immigration affected both men.

This case, according to the former president, shows how the Democrats have a “weak border security policy.”

Alexis, Jocelyn’s mom, opened up about the hardships her family is still facing.

“I have to go through the rest of my life with my son always asking for his sister, and I just really, really, really want everybody to please take into consideration how important border control is,” said Alexis.

At their convention this week, Democrats focused more on Trump and his supporters than on border security, according to Trump and his Republican associates.

The differing interviews that Johan Martinez-Rangel and Franklin Peña had with the Houston police are detailed in a 13-page search warrant.

To deflect attention from Democrats’ celebration of Harris’ presidential nomination in Chicago, this visit was the fourth in a series of events held this week in battleground states.

Alexis Nungaray and other moms of children who died during the Biden administration were among those who joined Thursday’s border visit. On Wednesday night, convention speakers accused Trump of appealing to his base by dehumanizing immigrants through his rhetoric surrounding the border.

The Harris County Jail has not released the suspects. One suspect’s attorney has requested a gag order related to the case.
