Weekend Road Closures in Washington Will Trigger Triple Trouble
Drivers in the Puget Sound area may expect significant delays this coming weekend due to the beginning of many large-scale road closures imposed by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) in the course of ongoing construction projects.
The whole length of several important roadways, including as Interstate 405 (I-405), State Route 167 (SR-167), and State Route 520 (SR-520), will be closed to traffic from August 22 to August 26, which will affect travel plans and commutes all throughout the region.

At the same time, from Super Highway 516 in Kent to South 277th Street, southbound SR 167 will be blocked. Beginning at 8 p.m. on August 23 and concluding at 4 a.m. on August 26, this closure will be in effect.
